Pastry Chef Fitsum Desta is the designer, creator & magician behind The Cake Studio’s sweet treats. Her background is in Information Systems rather than cakes but her creative flair allowed her to adapt her skills into all things sugar related.

 

Fitsum completed an intensive training at William Angliss Institute in Melbourne, Australia where she perfected her skills in all things cake, followed by years of experiences in world class bakeries.

 

She moved back to Ethiopia in 2015 and set up the business with the intention of modernizing traditional cake designs.  

 

Currently, Fitsum works tirelessly to ensure that the company remains at the cutting edge of cake design in Ethiopia.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have closed our shop and suspended all in person orders for now.

We consider wedding cakes to be not only designed as a reflection of yourself or the event but creates a visual focal point that leaves your guests enchanted down to the last bite. Therefore, we believe one on one consultation with our chef is critical for this process. If you are interested in ordering a wedding cake with us please click here and fill out the form.

Delivery charges are based on the distance from our shop to your delivery location. Estimated delivery charges vary from 100birr – 500birr.

For Local Purchases we use Yene Pay, which allows you tp pay using your CBE Birr, Dashen Banks Amole and Hello Cash. Alternatively, payment can be made via bank deposit to our Zemen Bank account.

For customers, ordering from abroad we accept PayPal payments.

Although we carefully estimate the time needed to deliver at your preferred time, it also depends on the time of day and the traffic from our shop to your location.

All online payments are made on either YenePay’s secure pages or PayPals secure pages. No payment is collected on our website so you can be assured that your payment is secure.

Yes you will. All our customers will receive an invoice via email at the time of purchase and a physical tax receipt upon delivery of your goods on the day.
